Three partners buy Château Grand Boisé

fter buying Château Grand Boisé in 1997, the Gervoson family decided to recruit Jean Simonet to manage the property at the end of 2012. Thirteen years later, Simonet has now become its owner in partnership with Ana-Sofia Simonet – previously in charge of events – and Romain Tosolini, a former Masterchef finalist in 2010.
The sale covers “the entire Château Grand Boisé business, both operations and real estate”, confirms a press statement issued by the property’s new owners. Although the purchase price was not disclosed, the statement said that “the two shareholders are now the Simonet and Tosolini families”.
Since starring on the TV show, Tosolini has become well known in culinary circles. In 2020, he bought Domaine Saint-Laurent in Mormoiron, in the Vaucluse area of southern France, and renamed it Château Cedrus. By investing in Château Grand Boisé, located in Trets, near Aix-en-Provence, alongside the Simonet family, he has doubled his involvement in the wine industry.
The property’s 37 hectares under vine are situated at elevations ranging from 340 to 650 metres and were entirely converted to organic then biodynamic after Jean Simonet took charge of the vineyards in 2012.
