Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2023 over 100% full

ue to take place from Monday 13 to Wednesday 15 February 2023, the Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris exhibition will feature over 3,315 exhibitors spread over 8 halls, which is 3 more than in 2022 and includes one dedicated to the Be Spirits space. Its organiser, Vinexposium, has exceeded the initial target of 3,100 stands, but is not blowing its own trumpet despite an occupancy rate of 102%. “It's not going too badly, which is admittedly an understatement. But we shouldn't get too overjoyed just yet. We have to stay focused until the 16th [February 2023] and beyond. We haven’t built up our full momentum yet”, explains Vinexposium CEO Rodolphe Lameyse. While stressing that he has overcome a certain amount of inertia, he has set the wheels in motion for the international benchmark exhibition and does not intend to stop in his tracks.
After starting its first waiting list with the 2023 exhibition, Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris wants to mark a new turning point. Founded in 2020 from the merger of Wine Paris (created in 2019) and Vinexpo Paris (which was never held on its own), the event coincided with the return of international trade fairs in 2022 and aims to support the industry during the challenging times that lie ahead in 2023. “That is the irony of trade. When all the indicators are green, there is no need for much marketing effort. But when there are tensions, you have to double your marketing efforts and that's where trade fairs come into their own”, says Lameyse.
