itisphere, the information website and wine trade intermediary, was created twenty years ago. The website was ahead of the curve compared with many media, and this is still true two decades later. Its staff feels strongly about continuing to embrace an innovative vision of the press, both in terms of content creation, but also for the partnerships it is able to establish. A case in point is its collaboration with the glassmaker OI for whom Vitisphere designed a website for the competition Expressions design awards 2019, which allows young designers to design bottles of rosé and the public to vote for their favourite bottle. The partnership also included marketing and PR activities focusing on the initiative, particularly on social media. On January 29, the work received the MediaPro Diversification Award (Ed: MediaPro is an association that aims to promote information from around a hundred publishers representing more than 200 professional media brands). The award is a genuine source of pride for us at Vitisphere and we are dedicating it to you, our readers who follow us every day. This is not the only accolade garnered by Vitisphere. MédiaPro also nominated the website for an editorial on organic winegrowing and its sister print publication La Vigne was nominated for the best article. The three awards make us want to continue to ramp up our news coverage for you, by focusing on content, and mark a great start to 2020. 

 

The Diversification Award was officially presented on January 29 in Paris.
