he search for a new managing director at Champagnes Bollinger is over: Charles-Armand de Belenet has been chosen for his “extensive experience in developing global brands and recruiting loyal consumers”, according to a press statement. Since 2011, de Belenet had been international marketing director with Martell Cognac and Mumm and Perrier-Jouët Champagne at Pernod-Ricard, the group he joined in 2006.

The 46-year-old Burgundian takes up his new post on September 5. He succeeds Jérôme Philipon, former chairman of the board at Champagnes Bollinger, who has taken over management of the family holding company. In addition to the Champagne of the same name based in Aÿ, the Bollinger group manages the brands Ayala, Chanson and Langlois-Château.
