Raphaël Heinry intends to double market shares and staff over the next two years at the helm of Primus Soft

ast May, Raphaël Heinry, the former director of the Talan group for New Aquitaine, took over as managing director of Primus Soft. The company has produced “ERP solutions that focus solely on professions in the wine and spirits industry for over 20 years” and is based in Bordeaux. Raphaël Heinry’s task is to “launch a new phase of growth and help properties transition to digital solutions by leveraging honed, practical expertise in the wine industry”, explains a press statement. The appointment follows Primus Soft’s acquisition by Dimood in 2024.
Heinry’s mission will be to steer the company towards “doubling its staff numbers by 2027, primarily by recruiting people from the wine world”, adds the statement. The software company’s flagship product, Primus Wine, aims to enhance professional and IT expertise to support projects with an increasingly strategic focus. “We aim to grow in a structured, sustainable way by extending our footprint in the major French wine regions and then in Europe”, adds Heinry.
Primus Wine is now “used by over 60 high-end companies and wineries and benefits from the industry and technological expertise of the Dimood group”, says the press statement. Primus Soft already has a foothold in France’s leading wine regions and has announced that it intends to “double its market shares in France over the next two years, and increase them four-fold in five years’ time. In Europe, Switzerland and Portugal have been identified as growth markets that can be developed”.
