On March 27, the series “Uncorked” will be released on Netflix. The drama tells the story of Elijah, a young African-American who decides to sign up for a course to become a master sommelier. His decision goes against the expectations of his father, who would like to see his son take over the family barbecue restaurant in Memphis. Tragedy forces the two characters to rethink their priorities and learn to communicate, listen and understand each other.

The series turns the spotlight on Chablis. Elijah will indeed go to France and discover Domaine Long-Depaquit belonging to Maison Albert Bichot. The vineyard, which covers 65 hectares and is HVE3 certified, hosted shooting of the drama. The company seized the opportunity to devise a novel pairing between its 2018 Chablis and the lemon-flavoured popcorn produced by Maison Gramm's in Auxerre. Perhaps with everyone in isolation, it’s time to get inspired and pop down to the cellar for a bottle of wine, make some popcorn and sit back and enjoy seeing the beautiful vineyards of Chablis. For Albert Bichot at least, it's time for #NETFLIXANDCHABLIS.
