Traffic analysis research into 10 French e-commerce websites taking part in the traditional Autumn wine festivals showed that with 337,600 visitors in September, Vinatis outstripped the other contenders by a long shot (see graph below). Idealwine ranked second, with 245,700 visits. Lesgrappes.com with 149,500 visitors reached the third step on the podium. The other websites that follow are: Twil (141,800 visits), lepetitballon.com (137,100), wineandco.com (88,900), avenuedesdesvins.fr (78,000), cavissima.com (36,430), millesimes.com (27,800), lagrandecave.fr (23,700), chateaunet.com (16,100) and netvin.com (924).

Pure players

The research only involves ‘pure players’ and therefore does not take into account supermarket websites (Carrefour, Leclerc, Lidl...).
