Our priority today is marketing and sales”, Stéphane Héraud, the chairman of the Vignerons de Tutiac co-operative winery told journalists and buyers invited on September 12 to discover the new range of wine launched by the co-op.

A safe choice, and recognisable buying cue

The range is quite simply called Tutiac. The co-operative aims to make its name a household brand, in other words, “a safe choice and a recognisable buying cue for consumers that guarantees them maximum pleasure for their money and makes all the difference”, explained Eric Hénaux, managing director of Vignerons de Tutiac.

The new range embraces some fifteen wines from across most of the Gironde area: red, rosé and white Bordeaux, Côtes (Blaye and Bourg), a Fronsac, a Médoc and a Sauternes. “Tutiac is a cross-regional Bordeaux brand”, added Hénaux.

With their labels sporting the company's new logo - a scow pulled by two swallows - all the bottles have a ‘family feel’ about them.

Describing the packaging, Eric Hénaux said: “We have followed Bordeaux's marketing conventions, while looking for shelf stand-out and engaging differently with consumers where the Tutiac brand takes precedence over the appellation”. The overall impression is one of clarity.
