Winalist aims to facilitate wine tourism

In just a few clicks, a winery can list its wine tourism services on Winalist, an internet platform allowing wine tourists to select activities as a family or a couple in the region of their choice. Visitors book via the website but pay directly at the winery. The site offers wine growers four types of solutions, starting with the basic level where an estate can list two services free of charge. Fee-paying packages allow wineries to feature an unlimited number of activities, respond via the website to internet user comments regarding services and gain access to usage statistics. “A wine grower can list an activity on the online diary up to one hour before it starts”, points out Nicolas Manfredini from Winalist, underscoring the platform’s responsiveness. In the event of a technical problem, Manfredini answers queries directly using the website’s live chat facilities. To date, most of the services listed are in Champagne but there are also some Bordeaux and Alsace wineries amongst the 50 estates featured.
