We are launching the Bulles Expo show with the firm intention of supporting the interests of the wine industry and trade and allowing France to assert its position at the top of the sparkling wine pyramid”, explained Gérard Julien, managing director of the France Agricole group. On June 20 and 21 this year, whilst Paris hosts the Euro 2016 football championship and the national music festival, sparkling wines from across the globe will gather at the Parc Floral in Paris, a city which epitomises party spirit and a creative way of life. Bulles Expo is designed to turn the spotlight on sparkling wines at a time of major change in the market, with the surge in sales of the Spanish and Italian offerings that are Cava and Prosecco.

Drawing on the long-term experience of GFA Events in organising shows – Innov’Agri attracts 80,000 visitors – this B2B event is offering a pragmatic range of solutions to prospective exhibitors. Shell scheme stands including a refrigerator and guaranteed wifi access are being marketed at an introductory price of €3,800 excl. VAT whilst organisations can book collective stands. Although the event runs over just two days, long opening hours ensure a total exhibition time of 20 hours.

The show will continue over the rest of the year via the internet where we will be launching a virtual show enabling exhibitors to enjoy constant visibility. Exhibitors will be able to stay in contact with buyers all year round”, said Michel Rémondat, director and founder of website Vitisphere, who has assembled an international team to manage the event. Also part of the team is Valérie Germe, formerly with Vinexpo, who is charged with visitor marketing. “We will be focusing mainly on the leading consumer markets. Our absolute priority is to attract quality visitors”.
