Having completed his term on 1 June, on the last day of the International Fair of Bordeaux, Bernard Severin handed over the chairmanship of the “Congrès & Expositions de Bordeaux (CEB)“ to Eric Dulong.  From the fifth generation of the Dulong family of Bordeaux négociants,  Eric Dulong is well known in the Bordeaux wine industry, having chaired the Union des Maisons de Bordeaux (1994-2000) and the Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bordeaux (2000-2002).  He left Bordeaux for Florida in 2006 (following the sale of the family business) and marked his return to Bordeaux earlier this year by assuming the chairmanship of  Vinipro, the new show dedicated to wines from Bordeaux and south-west France (the next edition will take place on 15-17 February, 2016).

Vice-president of the CEB since 2013 (having been a director since 2000), Eric Dulong (56 years) announced that the CEB would be taking full advantage of the upcoming extension of Line C of the Bordeaux tramway, connecting Bordeaux centre to the Bordeaux Lac exhibition centre.  The renovation of Halls 1 and 2 was also announced. The next events for the wine industry at the Parc Expo de Bordeaux will be Vinitech-Sifel (2-4 December 2014) and Vinexpo (from 14-18 June 2015).
