Moncigale top off their Fruits and Wine range with ready-made mulled wines

Moncigale, the French market leader of aromatised wine-based drinks (Boissons Aromatisées à Base de Vin, BAVB), have completed their range by adding Fruits and Wine mulled wine to it, in both a red and a white version. These two new products are ready-made aromatised wines (citrus-cardamom in the white and orange-cinnamon in the red). You just need to heat them up to activate the traditional flavours of mulled wine. They are to be sold in 75cl bottles and 3 litre BIB. Their launch will be marked by a 4x3 poster and bus campaign at the main Christmas Markets in France.

With 12 million bottles sold this year, the Fruits and Wine range (aromatised wine with 7% alcohol), which was launched in 2010, has seen a spectacular rise in sales this year (+40%). Moncigale, who is lucky enough to have the know-how of a liquorist at their main production site, Marie Brizard, is the uncontested leader of this market. Moncigale holds 34% of the marketshare in a sector that is rapidly growing (+230% sales growth in 2012 in supermarkets according to the Symphony Iri Group). Fruits and Wine by Moncigale, which comes in five different flavours (White peach, White sangria, Grapefruit rosé, Blackcurrent red and Raspberry red) is sold 80% on the French market and 20% by export.
