he 2013 LIWF will be more focused on UK business and is hoping to bring back the “buzz” with a series of new features. While the fair, which takes place in May at the ExCel arena in London, remains a leading international industry event, this year organisers are keen to prioritise the domestic UK buying market.  James Murray, director of the Exhibition, said: “while (…) we will continue to welcome the international audience, our priority will be on the domestic market, and acknowledging the importance of the UK buying community.”

Furthermore, this year’s event is being designed to ensure it will be much easier to navigate. At the centre of the fair will be a ‘My Wine Fair’ stand, where LIFW ambassadors will help visitors to plan an efficient and personalised journey around the arena. Other exciting initiatives include a new restaurant and briefing sessions with high profile keynote speakers, aimed to increase media coverage for the event and industry.
