The second highest performing trade event in its field, after Agritechnica, the Eima trade fair, which was due to be held in Bologna from 11 to 15 November 2020, will be turned into a virtual trade fair. Concurrently with this, the manufacturers’ federation that organises it has announced that it will postpone the bricks and mortar event held at the Bologna exhibition centre by 3 months. Visitors will be able to walk up and down the aisles from February 3 to 7, 2021. On the same days as the original event, Eima will create the “Eima Digital Preview, the world's first fully hosted agricultural machinery event using a digital platform and technologies” according to the manufacturers. Most importantly, it will allow thousands of farmers and trade members from different sectors, both Italian and foreign, to visit a trade fair from the comfort of their armchair.
