The World Bulk Wine Exhibition, which took place on November 20 and 21 in Amsterdam, provided insight into the changing world of bulk wines. The show saw a significant increase in visitor numbers, underscoring market interest in the category, and was also marked by greater attendance by Eastern European countries. With their competitively priced wines starting to break into global markets, it would not be surprising to see them cause a reshuffle in the distribution of market shares over the coming years. Another major take away from the 9th World Bulk Wine Exhibition was of course the very tight supply situation due to low crops in all the leading producer countries.
