A

t the Equiphotel trade show in September-October, the France Boissons group (a branch of Heineken), carried out via the Audirep Institute a survey of 1000 consumers on their expectations concerning alcoholic drinks in bars, cafés and restaurants. These consumption spots appear to be privileged places for making daily life more pleasant during a difficult economic context. 93% of consumers go to “treat themselves”.

Moreover, while this service acts as a “treat”, 74% of people questionned are prepared to “pay a little more” for something different to what they drink at home. For wine service, 72% like to be served wine in appropriate glasses. It also noteworthy that 72% of consumers ask the waiter to present the bottle before serving it, rather than bringing a glass already full.
